Earlier this month, OBERMEYER in partnership with Guangzhou Metro Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. were successfully shortlisted for the solicitation of supporting projects for sections of Wuxi Metro Line 6 and Line 7.

The project will include the design and planning of Binhu District Government Station and Nanqiao Station. Binhu District Government Station is serving as an important interchange station between Line 6 (under construction) and Line 7 (planned), while Nanqiao Station will connect Line 7 (planned) and S1 Line (planned).

At the same time, this project aims to inject new energy into high-efficiency-mobility and a high-quality area vitality for the realization of the Wuxi Medical and Health Industry Park project. Here OBERMEYER will equip the project concept with contributions from its international Healthcare Project experience. Following highest planning standards, the design scheme solicitation work will adopt an integrated design approach, aiming to enhance urban transportation efficiency and improve citizens' travel and service experience at the same time.
